Swiss photographer Michel Roggo has been working as a professional photographer since 1987. He is internationally renowned as a specialist in freshwater photography. He works primarily underwater, diving, snorkeling, and using remote-controlled systems.
He is a Senior Fellow of the iLCP International League of Conservation Photographers.
In 2011, he launched the Freshwater Project, documenting 40 spectacular freshwater landscapes with their plants and animals around the world over a period of seven years.
He has shown his work in more than 50 solo exhibitions and has won awards in competitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year and the Nikon Photo Contest International. More than 25,000 of his images have been published worldwide.
