Pete Oxford is an award-winning conservation photographer whose work has appeared in National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Time, Smithsonian, Geo, and many other leading publications. A resident of Ecuador for over three decades, he and his wife, photographer Renéé Bish, have published fourteen books focused on Ecuador’s rich biodiversity and conservation. A Founder Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, he was named one of the world’s 40 most influential nature photographers by Outdoor Photography magazine. His honors include Ecuadorian Photojournalist of the Year, the IUCN/Terre Sauvage “Man in Nature” prize, and Ranger Rick Photographer of the Year. His work continues to champion the power of imagery to inspire global conservation action.
