Soul Stare | Bing Lin

$142.00

During a serene morning in the Ethiopian highlands, I captured this striking image of an adult gelada male monkey as our eyes locked in this moment of mutual recognition.

Bing Lin is a conservation photographer, marine scientist, and environmental journalist based in Sydney, Australia. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Sydney’s Thriving Oceans Research Hub, where he studies the human dimensions of coral reef conservation. Blending ecological field research with narrative journalism and visual storytelling, Bing’s work explores the complex—and often fragile—relationships between people and nature. His interdisciplinary approach aims to bridge science and society, combining rigorous research with emotionally resonant stories that elevate both environmental challenges and community-led solutions.
