Connie Bransilver was a conservation photographer, writer, and filmmaker for 30+ years. Initial field work was with Duke Primate Center in Madagascar, documenting field studies under National Geographic grants. She worked with chimpanzee researchers in Uganda, Ivory Coast and Tanzania and with WWF, AWF and others throughout Africa. 
Shifting to Asia, she had assignments for WCS-Indonesia, USAID aerial surveys, Sumatra Tiger Team, Balikpapan Orangutan Society, Wild Foundation and UNESCO-Asia. Nearer home, she focused on Everglades conservation, producing two books - Florida’s Unsung Wilderness: The Swamps & Wild Love Affair: Essence of Florida’s Native Orchids - as well as the multimedia project, Guardians of the Everglades, with artist, Nicholas Petrucci.
She is a Founding Fellow of iLCP; former President of NANPA; member of Women in Film & Video, and a Fellow in the International Explorers Club (FN’96).
